We started Twin Creek Shooting Preserve in 1990. Our farm is beside the Sydenham River and has some hills and gullies not suitable for crop land. There is an abundance of natural bird cover and we also plant food plots for bird cover.

The first year we only conducted game bird hunts while researching sporting clays.  The next spring we opened up for year round sporting clays and have since added wobble trap and electronic 5 stand.

 

After watching a number of customers dogs in action we decided on German Shorthaired Pointers for guiding our customers.

Six years ago we started breeding GSP. We have acquired some of the last dogs Noblenose Kennels produced and have found them to have exceptional noses and a calm temperament. This strain of dogs will never give up while hunting and they have the GSP stamina to go all day long.

 

Our dogs get lots and practice and they are excellent retrievers. We have hunted Pelee Island; but now go to Saskatchewan each fall to hunt the wild Hungarian partridge. Presently we have a litter of pups sired by Tony Marziano's Alex. He is a large solid liver dog that has achieved FDX field status.
